NEW REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPATING ARTISTS – ARTISTIKE

1. Status

Participating artists are not members of the association.
They join as guest artists or project-based contributors.

2. Selection Process

Artists may be invited or accepted through:
   •    personal invitation
   •    application
   •    curatorial selection
   •    project-related participation

3. Responsibilities of the Artists

Participating artists are responsible for:
   •    providing all artworks, performances, or materials
   •    all required information, data, and documentation
   •    transport, insurance, and delivery of their works
   •    proper packaging and labeling
   •    accurate declaration of originality and authorship
   •    full compliance with all rules and agreements

4. Originality & Copyright 

Artists confirm that all submitted works are their own original creations.
Copies, imitations, AI-generated works, or works belonging to other artists are strictly prohibited.

Any copyright violation results in full personal liability and immediate removal from the project or association.

Artists are solely responsible for the authenticity and truthfulness of their statements.

5. Rights

Artists receive:
   •    presentation of their works through Artistike
   •    participation in exhibitions, projects, and events
   •    visibility through communication and press work
   •    promotional opportunities within the association

6. Usage Rights for Artistike

Artists grant Artistike the right to use photos and videos of their artworks for:
   •    social media
   •    website
   •    flyers, posters, catalogues
   •    exhibition documentation
   •    press communication
   •    videos & presentations

These rights are exclusively for promotion and documentation.

7. No Voting Rights

Participating artists have no voting, decision-making, or co-governance rights within the association.

8. Financial Terms
   •    The association receives a 20% commission on sales during exhibitions.
   •    Certain events may involve project-related fees.
   •    Transport, insurance, and special logistics are fully the responsibility of the artists unless otherwise agreed.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Artistike is not liable for:
   •    any damage to artworks
   •    loss during transport, installation, or dismantling
   •    improper packaging
   •    legal violations caused by false statements of artists

Insurance of works is the artist’s responsibility.

10. Conduct

Artists agree to:
   •    respectful behavior
   •    reliability
   •    adherence to schedules and rules
   •    constructive collaboration
   •    avoiding disruptive or disrespectful behavior

Artistike may terminate participation at any time in case of misconduct.

11. Termination of Participation

Artistike reserves the right to terminate projects, collaborations, or participation at any time if:
   •    organizational reasons require it
   •    rules are not respected
   •    copyright violations occur
   •    behavior harms the association

By registering, the artist confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these regulations.
