

Artistike - Transport, Handover & Liability Policy
Artistike is an independent Swiss art association that organizes exhibitions and connects artists.
To ensure clarity and transparency, the following rules apply to all participants.

1. Transport by Artistike (voluntary additional service)
Artistike may offer a shared transport service for selected exhibitions, for example Carrousel du Louvre or international art fairs.
This service is voluntary, not a contractual obligation, and serves solely as organizational support.
Important:
Even if Artistike provides transport, the association assumes no liability for damage, loss or theft.

2. Responsibility of the Artists
Each artist remains fully responsible for:
• safe and secure packaging of the artwork
• protective materials, labeling and transport suitability
• optional insurance (transport, theft, exhibition)
• handover, sale and return shipping to buyers
Poorly packed works may be excluded from transport.

3. No Liability of the Association
Artistike is not liable for:
• transport damage
• loss of artworks
• theft
• delays, transport accidents or errors caused by third-party companies
• misunderstandings between artists and buyers
All risks are carried by the artists.

4. Delivery and Collection of Artworks
Fixed delivery dates
For each exhibition, Artistike sets a binding delivery date and a clearly defined drop-off location.
Works delivered late cannot be guaranteed exhibition placement.
Fixed collection dates
Collection takes place at the same location on a scheduled date, communicated well in advance.
Late collection is generally not possible, as Artistike does not offer storage facilities.

Failure to Collect & Storage Fee
If an artist fails to collect their artwork on time, this creates additional organizational effort for Artistike.
In such cases, a storage fee of 20 CHF per day is automatically charged for as long as the artwork must be held.
This fee is waived only if a written agreement for late collection has been arranged in advance.

5. Sales & Forwarding of Buyer Information
If a buyer expresses interest in an artwork, Artistike only forwards the buyer’s contact details to the artist.
All sales, payment processing and shipping are handled directly between the artist and the buyer.
Artistike is not a contractual party and assumes no guarantee or responsibility.

6. Recommendations for Artists
We strongly recommend:
• high-quality, secure packaging
• additional transport or exhibition insurance
• written agreements with buyers for shipped works
• careful documentation of the artwork’s condition
